Our first audio book, WWII Aviator: Always Fasten Your Seatbelt is an oral history audio CD of Captain George Mosher's experiences in the Aviation Cadets and Ferry Command.
George Mosher grew up in the small town of Beacon, NY. In 1942 at the age of 19, George joined the war effort as an Aviation Cadet. He served his country as a pilot for four years flying everything from bombers to transports. He was honorably discharged in 1946 as a Captain. He also served in the Korean Conflict.
After WWII, George married Ruth Brink and they had four children (Nancy, Sharon, Tim, and Mark). George had a 29 year career as an accountant for the North American Aerospace Defense Command. The Mosher's ultimately settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado where George passed away in 2002 at the age of 78. He is remembered for his love of family, and endless pursuit of knowledge. He was extremely passionate about sharing his memories and would be happy his stories made it into your hands.
